Christmas is here and I was too busy(new job), too tired(new job), sick(flu), too confused(moving out/moving in), too numb(every one of my music projects on hold because of the aforementioned facts) to (almost not)notice! But, I love my messy life (everything except the flu) and I love Christmas. So, just before Xmas ends, here are 3 of my favorite Christmas movies! Yay!
#3 "A Christmas Carol". Either its the awesome 1988 Bill Murray version, either its this 1984 version with the awesome George C. Scott, either it's the Blackadder version, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens is my absolute favorite "Christmas Classic" story and I love it as a Film/TV Movie adaptation.
#2 "Home Alone" (1990), directed by Chris Columbus . Macaulay Culkin grew up to be a nut case, there were sequels and they sucked but this movie even after a thousand viewings remains pure fun to watch.
#1 "Hook" (1991), directed by Steven Spielberg. Christmas + Peter Pan + Robin Williams as Pan + Dustin Hoffman as Hook + Spielberg directing a children's story + Maggie Smith as Wendy Darling + Bob Hoskins as Smee =ABSOLUTE WIN.
